Hardwood Floor Store’s reputation is based on our expertise and product knowledge. With the standard of our service at the forefront of our company, we strive at all times to ensure that this is of the very best quality.

UK stock

We have a large, UK-based warehouse where we hold stock of all of our products, which are available for an immediate dispatch, if required. For any products which are temporarily out of stock, we will be able to advise of a lead time for restocking and delivery.

Delivery Rates

It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible, with the delivery being made by lorry. If there are any additional delivery restrictions or concerns, please advise us at the time of order.

Delivery costs are as below:

Next Day Delivery (8am - 6pm) £54.00
Certain Day Delivery (8am - 6pm) £48.00
Next Day Delivery AM or PM £60.00
2-Hour Timed Slot

All of our delivery costs include VAT.

These rates apply to UK Mainland. POA for non-Mainland and Scottish Highlands. Above deliveries are kerbside only. Please ensure suitable labour is at the delivery point to offload your delivery.

*Please note, orders must be placed before 2.00pm to guarantee next day delivery.

Due to Brexit we can no longer provide a free sample service to Northern Ireland.Therefore any orders placed will be subject to additional delivery costs. We will be in touch with a quote on the available options before processing your order.#80FF00 #893451

Delivery preparations

Please note that the above delivery services are kerbside trade delivery servicesand it is your responsibility to carry the goods from the kerbside into the property. We recommend that labour is arranged to assist with the offload. 

 

Delivery restrictions

Deliveries can be made on large commercial vehicles. We will assume that the property is easily accessible to these types of vehicles. Please advise of any restrictions at point of order.

Your delivery time slot

Please ensure you provide us with a relevant phone number and email address for your delivery upon ordering. Once you have chosen a date for delivery of your goods, you will be sent a text/e-mail to advise of your 2 hour time slot. Please note, depending on your courier, it could be an AM or PM drop, if you have from your courier in the morning, you will be given a PM delivery slot at 12 midday. 

How will my order arrive?

Please be aware most of our shipments will be on a pallet and this will be left with you at the point of delivery along with any packing used to protect the goods whilst in transit.

Order not as expected?

It is important to check your Hardwood Floor Store packages for any visual damage to the goods and sign for your order on arrival. In the rare event that you receive damaged goods or there are missing items, please make sure it is noted on the courier's paperwork. Please contact us directly as soon as possible and we will endeavour to resolved it swiftly.

Booking for an installer

We strongly advise against booking installers until your new floor has arrived. Regrettably, we cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses because of problems with delivery or floors not being acclimatised properly.
Deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Ireland, islands and non mainland UK
Please be aware that customers living outside of Mainland UK or in some territories of Scotland may not be eligible for next day delivery or AM service.

RETURNS POLICY

Here at The Hardwood Floor Store, we like to make your return's progress as smooth as possible for you.

There are three main reasons you may need to return your order:

You’ve changed your mind

  • Providing your order has not yet been dispatched, you will have 14 days to cancel and receive a full refund.
  • If your order has been dispatched/delivered and you have changed your mind, we are happy to accept this back and offer a full refund providing this is returned within 30 days from the date of delivery.¬† Any returned products must be unopened and in their original condition to be eligible for a full refund.
  • To action your return please email¬†info@hardwoodfloorstore.co.uk¬†with your order number, name and contact details, reason for return and with the number of items you would like to return.
  • A returns note will be provided that will need to be attached clearly to the return delivery along with the order number clearly visible.¬†
  • Please note that any delivery charges are non-refundable and you are responsible of returning the goods to us at your expense.
  • Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving the goods back.

 You’ve got leftover packs

  • If you have over ordered and would like to return any spare packs of flooring, you can return these to us and you will be eligible for a full refund on the returned items.¬† Any returned products must be unopened and in their original condition to be eligible for a full refund.
  • To action your return please email¬†info@hardwoodfloorstore.co.uk¬†with your order number, name and contact details, reason for return and with the number of items you would like to return.
  • A returns note will be provided that will need to be attached clearly to the return delivery along with the order number clearly visible.¬†¬†
  • Please note that you are responsible of returning the goods to us at your expense.
  • Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving the goods back.
NOTE: If you would like to return you need to make us aware within 14 days of receiving the order, and the goods need to be received by us within 30 days.

Your order has arrived damaged

  • In the unfortunate event that your order arrives damaged, we will work to resolve this as quickly as possible
  • Please ensure that goods are thoroughly checked on delivery and if there are any damages, please make the driver aware and sign for as ‚Äėdamaged‚Äô
  • Email our customer care team,¬†info@hardwoodfloorstore.co.uk¬†with your order number, name and contact details, number of items damaged and photos/videos for the damage or fault.
  • Refunds will be made within 14 days and replacement sorted as soon as possible.
  • Proof of damage/the fault will be required before any replacements or refunds are organised.

Redelivery Fees

If you miss your allocated delivery time slot, or you refuse your delivery, a standard re-delivery fee will be charged (can be seen above). We will hold your delivery in our warehouse until redelivery fees are paid. 

    NOTE: If you would like to return your flooring or have received your order damaged you need to make us aware within 14 days of receiving the order, and the goods need to be received by us within 30 days. Items that are ordered in i.e not stock items or custom trims cannot be returned.
